About Fleet PPM
Fleet PPM allows companies to see the average outbound prices-per-mile for their whole fleet, based on the vehicle’s current location.
How tracking works
Fleet PPM works by tracking the locations of the vehicles in your fleet. It can do this in two ways:
Automatically:
- Via a telematics integration
- Via the CX Driver app (provided the driver has tracking on). Learn how to switch tracking on via the CX Driver app.
With either of these options, the location of your vehicles will automatically update in Fleet PPM.
Manually:
You can manually update a vehicle’s location via ‘My Fleet’ on the Exchange desktop application. Learn more here.
Benefits
Quote more accurately: Fleet PPM shows you average prices-per-mile data for where your vehicles are currently. This tailored approach helps you quote more accurately and boosts your chances of winning more work.
Quote more efficiently: With prices-per-mile (PPM) data for all your vehicles in one screen, quoting accurately on loads for the entire fleet has never been easier – especially for office-based staff.
Access to Home PPM: Enjoy complimentary access to Home PPM on the Exchange when you buy a Fleet PPM subscription. Home PPM gives you weekly inbound and outbound prices-per-mile data from your company’s home location. Does Fleet PPM guarantee me winning loads?
While Fleet PPM doesn’t guarantee you’ll win every load you quote on, it does help you make informed, data-driven decisions when quoting. Being able to see the average PPM for each of your vehicle’s locations can you help you tailor your quotes, to ensure you are quoting accurately for that location.
How Fleet PPM data is calculated
Fleet PPM is based on aggregated & anonymised data from booked loads on the TEG platform. Data is updated daily and based on a rolling 7-day average of prices-per-mile for the location your vehicles are currently in.

Using Fleet PPM
Troubleshooting
No data in the Post Code column
If you see 'No Data' in the PostCode column, this could be for two reasons:
a) Tracking has not been enabled for the vehicle.
Tracking can be enabled for a vehicle either automatically, or manually. Learn more here.
b) Last tracking update has been more than an hour
If your vehicle has tracking enabled but is still returning 'No Data' in the post code column, this could be because it has been more than one hour since we've received a tracking update. To fix this, you can update the vehicle's location manually. Learn more.
Switching tracking on via the CX Driver app
To switch vehicle tracking on, your driver will need to click the 'Tracking' button on their CX Driver app, as shown below.
Updating a vehicle's location manually
- Go to 'My Fleet' in the Exchange.
- To update a vehicle's location, click the pencil icon under 'Current Location/Last Tracked' to edit.
- You must enter a full Postcode in order for the Fleet PPM to register the location.
Does Fleet PPM work for vehicle’s located outside the UK?
No. Fleet PPM will only return prices-per-mile data for vehicles located within the UK.
Using Fleet PPM and Home PPM
Fleet PPM vs Home PPM
Both data products are complementary to each other but address slightly different needs, so you can have both Fleet PPM and Home PPM as part of your subscription.
