We prefer vans without company branding or logos when a carrier is transporting loads on another member’s behalf.
If a broker allocates a load to a carrier, that carrier is representing the broker and not their own business. It's the carrier's responsibility to follow all load instructions, not to arrive on-site with branded PODs or vehicles, and not to exchange contact information with anyone - even if approached.
Owner drivers with an established courier business:
If you’re already running a courier business prior to joining the Exchange and your van is branded, we advise using magnets to conceal your logos when transporting loads on another member’s behalf. Using branded PODs is strictly prohibited and is considered an attempt to poach someone else’s customer.
Owner drivers without an established courier business:
If you’re starting a new courier business on the Exchange but would like to have logos on your van, we advise using magnetic branding that can be removed when transporting loads on another member’s behalf. Using branded PODs is strictly prohibited and is considered an attempt to poach someone else’s customer.
Carriers joining the Exchange with fully branded vehicles:
If you’ve joined the Exchange as a carrier with a fully branded vehicle, it’s best practice to inform the broker who subcontracted you to move the load. The broker’s customer won’t be expecting to see your company branding on the vehicle upon arrival, so it’s a good idea to communicate this and avoid any confusion.
Using branded PODs is strictly prohibited and is considered an attempt to poach someone else’s customer.
