Co-loading, the equivalent of "ride-sharing" in freight transportation, is only permitted on the Exchange if the carrier has documented authorisation from the broker and anyone else involved with that booking.
Recorded permission must be in the form of an email or text message (on the platform's Freight Messenger, our app's built-in messenger, or your mobile phone's messaging system).
If we become aware that a carrier has attempted to co-load without documented authorisation, we have the right to impose warnings and suspensions on the account or, upon full review, revoke the membership.
How we enforce this policy:
- First offence – Warning
If we discover that you've co-loaded without documented authorisation, we'll place a warning on your account that's valid for one year. - Repeated offences - Suspension or membership revocation
If a member has a current warning on their account, then depending on the severity of the co-loading implications or frequency of the offence, we have the right to suspend that account or, upon full review, revoke their membership.
The duration of suspension varies per case and will be clearly communicated to the member. We will advise the member about the requirements needed to lift the suspension.
Please note: We may revise this policy at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to acknowledge such changes, as they are legally binding. Some of the provisions contained in this policy may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our platform.
