5 things to avoid for load posters
1) Don't exceed payment terms - Always ensure that you pay members within your agreed payment terms. Late payments lead to negative feedback, complaints and, if they repeatedly occur, account suspension or revocation.
2) Don't assume the driver is available – Check a driver is still available before allocating the load. It will save cancellations and delays.
3) Don't be rude or offensive – Treat every member with kindness and respect. Things go wrong sometimes, but this doesn't mean you should be rude or offensive.
4) Don't give vague instructions – Special instructions should be clear and easily visible to the member completing the load. Ensure every effort is made to communicate the load instructions to the driver, and make use of the load notes or the booking footer.
5) Don't be uncontactable – Always ensure an employee is available to be contacted if something goes wrong. The driver may need your assistance, and your customer might depend on it.
5 things to avoid for drivers
1) Don't poach – Load posters spend a long time establishing their customer base and maintaining those relationships. Please do not attempt to seek their customers out or advertise your business in any way. We would advise you to stop using branded PODs, business cards, or any other forms of advertising as poaching can lead to membership suspension or revocation.
2) Don't co-load – Co-loading is acceptable with written permission from all parties involved, but we advise you not to engage until you have the experience to meet all time constraints given. Co-loading without documented authorisation can lead to account suspension or revocation.
3) Don't repost – You must carry out any work subcontracted to you. You cannot resell the load on the Exchange or any other platform. Reselling of loads could lead to account suspension or revocation.
4) Don't be rude or offensive - Treat every member with kindness and respect. Even if loads don't go according to plan, it does not warrant poor behaviour on our professional platform.
5) Don't submit a complaint without doing your credit control – You should always attempt to resolve late or non-payment issues with the member in question before lodging a complaint. Transport Exchange Group will not get involved in payment disputes unless you have attempted to contact the member directly.
