This guide will explain how to resolve common payment or bank errors in SmartPay.
The most common payment issue is incorrect or outdated bank details. Make sure your Trustd profile is always up to date with correct bank details.
Issue: Sent Money Without Confirming Payment
What Happens: Funds are returned to the bank account listed in Trustd.
Time Limits to Confirm:

Business Hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–7pm): 2 hours

Outside Business Hours (Weekends/Bank Holidays): 5 minutes
Missed the Deadline? Funds are returned, and the payment stays in Awaiting Funds until you retry.
Issue: Transferred the Wrong Amount
What Happens: Funds are returned to your Trustd bank account.
Why? SmartPay requires the exact amount, even a penny off will block the transaction.
Issue: Outdated Bank Details in Trustd
What Happens: Funds remain in your Wallet until your bank details are updated.
What to Do: Log into Trustd and update your bank account. Payments will then be sent to the latest account on file.
