Trustd Loads protects your loads with enhanced driver verification, a digital Load Pass, and a Pre-Check Card for every collection.
Setting Up a Trustd Load
When you use the Book Direct form or allocate a load to an eligible driver or fleet, “Secure Collect Load Pass” is automatically enabled to protect your booking. This is shown as a tick box on the load form.
Bidding and Allocation
How it works:
- Drivers submit quotes on your Trustd Load.
- You review quotes and allocate the load to your chosen driver or company. Companies eligible to complete Trustd Loads show a green tick under the SecureCollect heading in the Quotes tab in the Courier Exchange.
- Driver completes identity verification, once allocated, the driver is prompted to complete a selfie check.
- Your Pre-Check Card is generated, giving you verified driver credentials before collection begins.
The Pre-Check Card
The Pre-Check Card is a shareable document containing all verified information about your chosen driver.
What's included:
- Driver licence information
- MOT status
- Vehicle details, including images
How to use it:
- View the card: Navigate to the load in your Diary and select "Click here to view driver details"
- Share with customers: To save your Pre-Check Card, select Download PDF when viewing the card, and send it to your end customer so they know who to expect and which vehicle will arrive.
How to share the Pre-Check Card:
- Email to your customer or warehouse: Now you have the Pre-Check Card saved as a PDF on your computer you can send it as an email attachment to your customer
- Let your customer know what to expect: We have some guidance below that you can share with your customer or warehouse staff so that they know how to use the Pre-Check Card.

"This is your Pre-Check Card, which contains information about the driver and vehicle scheduled to collect the load from your premises.
The Pre-Check Card includes details about the vehicle, insurance, and driving licence, allowing you to verify that the correct driver and vehicle arrive for collection.
When the driver arrives, please ensure that a member of staff is available to scan the driver's Load Pass to complete the collection process. This can be done using a standard QR code scanner on any smartphone — no specialist software or equipment is required.
Please make sure your staff are informed of this requirement ahead of the scheduled collection."
The Load Pass
A Load Pass is the driver's verified credential that confirms they are the assigned and authorised driver for your load.
- Generated automatically when the driver completes their initial identity check
- Contains a QR code for easy verification
- Can be scanned using any mobile phone
- Provides instant confirmation that the correct driver is on site
Completing a Trustd Load
What happens at collection:
- Driver arrives on site: They update their booking status within the app.
- Load Pass is scanned: The driver presents their Load Pass to the person handing over the goods, who scans the QR code using any mobile phone (no special software required).
- Driver verification: The driver verifies themselves biometrically.
- Collection confirmed: Once the QR code is scanned and goods are collected, the SecureLoad is complete.
Tracking completion: You will see the load as “Trustd Load Verified” in your Diary section.
