Below is a checklist of what you need to use SmartPay:
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) – you'll need to set up your device with 2FA in order to authorise payments or edit user access.
- Payment set up application in Trustd – you'll need to set up your bank account in Trustd to use SmartPay.
- Set up your SmartPay user roles – select the people in your business who can access and use SmartPay.
- Edit your Settings – Add your company logo, tailor your business emails, adjust your invoice backdating settings and more in the SmartPay Settings menu.
- Manage your bank account details - keep your bank account details up-to-date in Trustd to get paid into the account you want.
- Confirm that you do not use external factoring services - In your SmartPay section in the Exchange, navigate to the settings and tick the confirmation to confirm you are not using external factoring services.
