This guide explains the fleet messenger function within the TEG platform on desktop and mobile.
Please note, a new version of Freight Messenger launched 5th January 2026.
The upgraded messenger is designed to make freight communication faster, clearer, and more centralised.
What’s new?
Modern design: Looks and feels like popular messaging apps (e.g. WhatsApp).
Text-only messaging at launch, attachments and other features coming soon.
Group messaging: Send one message to multiple contacts at a company.
Auto-translation (coming soon): Messages will be translated based on your language settings.
Settings management: Messenger settings are now part of the main settings page.
Long-press (mobile) or three-dot menu (desktop) for actions:
Add emoji reactions.
Edit or delete messages.
Copy to clipboard.
Mark as unread (for received messages).
Synchronisation: Messages and actions (such as deleting a message) reflect across both platforms.
Why Use Freight Messenger instead of SMS or WhatsApp?
Keep all load and booking queries in one place, no need to switch between apps.
Improve dispute resolution and feedback tracking with centralised communication.
Use group messaging to reach multiple contacts quickly.
Benefit from upcoming features like language translation and attachments.
