The Trustd Pre-Check Card can now be found in the Diary and Runsheet, and sent to your customer automatically by email."
What is the Pre-Check Card?
A Pre-Check Card is a redacted summary of your Trustd-verified driver's credentials for a specific load, generated once that driver completes their Load Pass biometric check.
What has changed
The card is visible from two places on the platform, and can be shared with your customer automatically rather than manually.
1 - In the Diary
The existing link has been reworded from "Click to view driver details" to "View Trustd Pre-Check Card," so the wording is consistent everywhere else it now appears.
2 - In the Runsheet
Expand a Trustd load's row as normal - you'll now see a Pre-Check Card section with a "View Trustd Pre-Check Card" link.
3 - Sharing it with your customer automatically
When posting a load through Book Direct, tick "Send Pre-Check Card to Customer" in the Smart Alerts section (only shown where the allocated driver is Trustd verified; unticked by default). Once ticked, the card is attached automatically to the "On my Way to Pickup" Smart Alert, and again on the "On Site (Pickup)" alert in case the first one was missed.
4 - Your own notification as load owner
You'll always receive the Pre-Check Card by email as soon as it's generated, whether or not you've opted into Smart Alerts.
The Pre-Check Card in your emails
Once ticked at Book Direct, the Pre-Check Card is attached automatically to the following emails. You, as load owner, also always receive your own copy by email as soon as the card is generated — this one isn't dependent on the checkbox.
"On my Way to Pickup" alert
Sent when the driver is on their way to the pickup location. The email leads with the card itself, so your customer can confirm who to expect before the driver arrives.
"On Site (Pickup)" alert
Sent as a backup once the driver has arrived, in case your customer missed the first email.
What happens if the driver changes
- New driver also Trustd verified: you and your customer get an email confirming the previous card is no longer valid, then a fresh Pre-Check Card once the new driver completes verification.
- New driver not Trustd verified: the load reverts to standard tracking and the previous Pre-Check Card is no longer valid.
Why we are introducing this change
Sharing verified driver details consistently, with a clear record of when it happened, protects both you and your customer. It now takes one tick of a checkbox.
