Our Fair Value policy ensures every member pays fairly based on how much they use the Exchange.
Who this applies to
This policy applies to:
- Load posters allocating more than 1,200 loads per year (or 300 loads per quarter).
- Drivers and carriers completing more than 50 loads per month (or 150 per quarter) AND generating more than £25,000 per month (or £75,000 per quarter).
Load posters: how the policy works
We calculate Fair Value charges based on your previous usage.
If you’re on an annual membership:
We look at the 12 months before your renewal date.
If you allocated more than 1,200 loads, you’ll be charged £0.80 + VAT for each load over the limit.
This charge is added to your renewal invoice, which is raised 2 months before your renewal date.
Example:
You allocated 1,201 loads last year. You’ll pay your standard renewal fee + £0.80 + VAT for the one extra load.
If you’re on a quarterly membership:
We look at the 3 months before your next quarterly renewal.
If you allocated more than 300 loads, you’ll be charged £1 + VAT for each load over the limit.
Example:
You allocated 301 loads last quarter. You’ll pay your standard renewal fee + £1 + VAT for the one extra load.
Drivers and carriers: how the policy works
Fair Value applies if you:
- Complete more than 50 loads per month (150 per quarter) and;
- Generate over £25,000 per month (£75,000 per quarter).
Should you meet or exceed these thresholds, your activity will be reviewed by TEG. If your activity is found to be consistently above these thresholds, your subscription will be upgraded to a Large Fleet membership at your next renewal.
Coming off subscription hold?
If your membership has been on hold and your usage meets the Fair Value threshold (see above), your subscription will be automatically upgraded to Large Fleet when your membership restarts.
