If you are using Trustd as a registered business based in the US, you can retrieve insurance policies from your agents directly from Trustd, instead of manually uploading them.
To get started, head to your Trustd profile.
Scroll down to see the Documents section.
Here you will see the My Insurance Agents heading.
Click Add Agent, then enter the agent email address.
If you have more than one agent, you can use the plus sign to add multiple emails in this area.
This will begin the process of retrieving your business insurance policies, you will be emailed when your agent provides the policy information.
Once your agent provides the policies you will be sent an email confirmation, you can then log back in to Trustd, and you will see the document in this section.
Tick the document(s) you want to add, then click Add to my documents.
This will bring the policies into your Trustd profile.
Insurance policies that are retrieved from your agents are also shared with your connections.
Document expiry
When your policy expires your agent will be prompted to provide the new set of insurance policy details.
Changing insurance agent
If you change your insurance agent, or cancel your policy you will need to remove the agent from your Trustd profile.
To do this log in to Trustd.
Head to your profile, scroll down to the My insurance agent button, Click Remove next to the agent.
You can then use the Add agent button to provide details for your new agent and repeat the process explained above to retrieve your new insurance policies.
