Never share your account details with anyone. You are solely responsible for the security of your account. Please be aware of the implications of sharing your data with someone else. You are giving them the power to operate under your name and potentially disregard all policies, damaging the reputation you’ve worked hard to achieve.
Additionally, you’re exposing yourself to fraud by sharing your account details. The person with access to your account could manipulate your bank details or any aspect of the platform to put you and your business at a disadvantage.

How we enforce this policy:
Sharing account details
If anyone asks you for your login credentials to the Exchange, you must politely decline. We take platform and account security seriously and will take action if you are found to be giving non-members/suspended/revoked users unauthorised access to the Exchange.

First offence – Immediate suspension or lifetime ban
If it’s been brought to our attention by another member that you’ve been sharing account details with a revoked member, we have the right to suspend your account immediately and in more serious instances impose a lifetime ban from the Exchange.
Sharing personally identifiable information (GDPR breach)
Sharing member data anywhere outside of the Exchange is breaching GDPR and is strictly prohibited. We will take swift action if we become aware of it.

First offence – Suspension Warning (valid for 1 year)
If we become aware that you’ve been sharing members’ sensitive information outside of the Exchange (load ID, member ID, contact number, email address, etc.), we have the right to impose a suspension warning on your account. The warning is valid for 1 year with advice on how to comply with GDPR being given.

Repeated offences – Membership revocation
If broadcasting of sensitive information continues, we have the right to suspend your account for 2 weeks. If the offence happens a third time, we have the right to suspend your account for a month. In more serious instances, where warnings and suspensions are continually being ignored, we have the right to revoke your membership.
Remember: all member data is under GDPR protection, so even sharing load details without a member’s consent could end up restricting your account. The consequences of sharing sensitive information outside of the Exchange far outweigh the benefits. If another member is alerted to the fact that you’re sharing their sensitive data, they have the right to take legal action against you.
Syndicates
Sharing your account details with non-members, or running syndicates using your Exchange account details for a secondary charge, is strictly prohibited.
Sharing account access
We do not allow you to sell your Exchange account credentials for a secondary charge to anyone outside of your company or direct employment, whether it’s for a percentage commission on profit or not.

If you’re found to be selling access to the Exchange using your account credentials, whether it’s for a percentage commission on revenue or not, we have the right to suspend your account, or upon full review, revoke your membership.
If you become aware of a member(s) running syndicates on the Exchange, you shouldn’t tolerate or overlook this. Syndicates indirectly exploit other members by giving non-members full access to an exclusive trading platform. In addition, syndicates undermine our thorough vetting process, meaning that our trusted network will be exposed to unprofessional, unlicensed individuals disregarding basic policies or giving revoked members a second chance to abuse the Exchange. It also allows revoked members to post loads using someone else’s account.

Sharing app credentials to other drivers
If you’re working with a driver and you are their sole source of income on the Exchange, they’re considered your “Company Driver” and should be able to receive notifications via the app.
However, if they aren’t exclusively working for you but are operating as a subcontractor outside of the Exchange, they can only have visibility of loads posted by you, and not visibility of loads by other members on the general Exchange.
If the driver doesn’t represent your company in any way, they need to have their own CX account with separate login credentials. We do not allow multiple drivers to share a single app.
