SecureLoad overview
This guide explains the SecureLoad feature how it works and the benefits it brings to both load posters and drivers.
SecureLoad protects every stage of the load lifecycle, from booking to delivery, by verifying drivers, vehicles, and journey steps. It builds trust, ensures accountability, and helps eliminate rogue actors from the platform.

Secure Load Process
- Load poster posts load - This process is the same as current load posing
- Drivers submit quotes - This process is the same as current quote process
- Load poster reviews quotes - Load is marked as SecureLoad as default, unless the load poster unticks the "Protect with SecureCollect" box
- Driver is assigned the load - the allocated driver is sent a confirmation of the load and a link to start verification

Pre-Check Verification
- Driver completes ID verification when accepting a load. This generates the Load Pass for the driver, and a Pre-Check Card for the load poster
- Load poster sees a Pre-Check Card showing credentials (e.g. MOT, insurance).
- Card can be exported as a PDF to share with customers.

Arrival & Load Pass scan
- Driver logs into the CX app on arrival.
- Confirms they’re on-site and completes a face scan.
- This generates a Load Pass, verifying identity and readiness.

Secure Handover
- Load Pass is scanned at the delivery location using a QR code.
- ID is confirmed, ensuring the right person is delivering the load.

Journey Sign-Off
- Key journey steps (e.g. delivery) are logged and signed off in the app.
- Provides full traceability and a consistent experience for customers.
