This guide will explain some frequently asked questions regarding SecureLoad
What is SecureLoad
The new SecureLoad feature from TEG and Trustd is a new way of protecting loads with enhanced driver verifications, a digital load pass for every load, and a secure hand off.
SecureLoad is designed to protect every stage of the load lifecycle, from booking to collection by verifying drivers, vehicles, and journey steps.
Secure Load builds trust between load posters and drivers, ensures accountability, and helps eliminate rogue actors from the platform.
Why is the Load Pass being introduced?
The Load Pass is designed to improve trust, reliability and security across the logistics industry, read more about the vision and benefits of SecureLoad here.
What happens if a driver loses their pass?
As long as you can access the wallet function on your mobile phone you can download another copy of the load pass
What happens if a driver forgets to get the pass scanned?
If a driver forgets to get the load pass scanned the secure load record will not be complete, and the load will not finish tracking.
What if a driver cannot find anyone to scan the Load Pass?
Ideally a load pass should always be scanned by someone on collection, if the driver cannot find anyone to scan, they should first try phoning the contact number given for the secure load recipient
Will setting up secure loads take up drivers time?
Drivers don’t need to change how they operate to take advantage of the SecureLoad process. The driver only needs to press a button on their phone, take a selfie photo, and get a QR code scanned on site. These steps can all be completed in moments and the benefit is that the drivers build trust with their customers, put their brand at the heart of the delivery, and stand out as a courier at the leading edge of the industry.
